Georgie’s car. She leaned against her car door and suggested, “If the mayor’s
family made part of their money from bootleg booze, I don’t think he’d try and
hide it. It wasn’t his crime, and he
can’t be held responsible for his grandfather’s crimes.”
“True, but it could tarnish his reputation. He
might not be re-elected. People have
killed for less than saving their reputation.
